Düsseldorf Airport to Bonn Transfer
DUS to Bonn: 90 km, about 1 h 20 min, €320. Fixed. The number you see at booking is the number on the invoice, and none of the things that move a taxi meter along the way, meaning traffic and night hours and weekends and the size of your luggage, will move it.

The car is booked against your flight number, which makes the schedule our problem. Land early and it is there. Land two hours late and it is still there, at the same price, because we have been watching the aircraft since it left. Meet and greet happens inside, beyond customs, at whichever terminal you come through. For the return out of Bonn we set the pickup from your gate-closing time and move it if the traffic says so.
Bound for somewhere close by? Sankt Augustin costs €311 in Business Class and Königswinter €335, on the same terms as all 572 Düsseldorf Airport transfers.
Included in every fare
- Flight tracked from departure
- 90 minutes of free waiting after landing
- Meet and greet past customs, luggage carried
- Tolls, parking and VAT. No night or weekend surcharge
Getting there another way
A direct train runs, though not often. Bonn is on the departure poster for Düsseldorf Flughafen as an IC or ICE that needs no change, but only a few times a day, so check the times on bahn.de before you plan around one. Our car leaves when you land, and it is approx. 1 h 20 min door to door at €320.
A taxi from Düsseldorf Airport to Bonn leaves the Düsseldorf taxi area, where the tariff stops being binding and the fare is agreed before the trip. Our estimate: €250 to €315. An app will also get you to Bonn. It will quote a price that changes between the moment you check it and the moment you land, and it will not know your flight is ninety minutes late. That is the trade. We quote €320 once, and the 90 free minutes after touchdown are already inside it.
Station names, lines and frequencies come from each airport's own travel pages and from the published service table for its station. We quote no ticket prices, because we could not verify current ones.

Questions
- How much is a transfer from Düsseldorf Airport to Bonn?
- A Business Class saloon costs €320, fixed. Other classes on the same run: Electric Class €320, First Class €550, and €340 for the six-seat Business Van. Everything is included, down to the 90 minutes the car spends waiting after you touch down.
- How many passengers and bags fit in each class?
- Business Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz E-Class), Electric Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS) and First Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class) each take up to three passengers, with room for 2 large cases and 2 carry-on. The Business Van takes more. A 2026 Mercedes-Benz V-Class, it seats up to six with 6 large cases and 6 carry-on, and costs €340 to Bonn. Skis or a pushchair? Mention them when you book.
- How long does it take from Düsseldorf Airport to Bonn?
- The drive takes about 1 h 20 min in normal traffic, over roughly 90 km, which is 56 miles. For the outbound leg we work backwards from your gate-closing time and look at the road that morning and set the pickup from what it tells us.
- Where exactly does the driver meet me at Düsseldorf Airport?
- The meeting point is past customs. Your driver stands there with your name on a board, at Terminal A, B or C, which are three concourses of a single building, and goes by your flight number to know which one. Luggage is carried to the car, and the drive to Bonn starts from there.
- Is there a train from Düsseldorf Airport to Bonn?
- Bonn has a direct IC or ICE from Düsseldorf Flughafen, but only a few trains a day make the run without a change. Check bahn.de for the departure times. By road it is approx. 1 h 20 min at €320, whenever you land.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- The price does not move when a flight is late. We watch the flight from the moment it leaves its origin airport and move the pickup with it, which means a two-hour delay costs you nothing at all, because the 90 minutes of waiting after landing were inside the €320 before any of it happened. Diverted to another city? Then we talk to you and work it out. No no-show fee for an aircraft that went somewhere else.
- Can I cancel or change the booking?
- Cancelling is free up to 6 hours before pickup. Bookings that hold a car for a whole day, which means hourly hire, full days, weddings and events, need 24 hours instead, because by that point the driver's day belongs to you and nobody else can be given it. Changes are a different thing. A new flight number, a new time, a new address: free, at any point, and usually what people actually needed.
- How do I pay?
- You can pay the driver in cash or by card, and the booking page shows any other option open to your booking. Company accounts get one monthly invoice with the VAT stated and every journey tagged to a cost centre, which is the version finance departments ask for. Passengers on an account never touch a payment at all.
- Can you take a wheelchair, a child seat or a pet to Bonn?
- Child and booster seats are free. Tell us the ages when you book. A folding wheelchair travels in any class, and where a passenger needs room to transfer across and not a saloon door to negotiate, the six-seat Business Van is the sensible choice and costs no more than asking for it. We do not run a ramp-equipped vehicle as standard. Ask, and you get a straight answer about whether we cover it ourselves or arrange it. Assistance dogs always travel. Other animals travel too. Tell us what, and how big.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Booking 12 hours ahead is comfortable. That gets you the class you asked for, not whatever happens to be free. Shorter notice is often fine, so ask before assuming. The exception is a disruption, when a cancelled bank of flights puts several hundred people on the same phones inside the same twenty minutes, and how far ahead you booked becomes the only thing separating a car from a queue.
