Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg Transfer
210 km to Strasbourg. Around 2 h 30 min when traffic on the A5 runs freely, and a good deal longer when a lorry has folded itself across two lanes at the wrong junction, which happens often enough that we build it into the schedule and never into the price. The fare stays €680.

Arrivals go like this. We track the inbound flight, park before it lands, and meet you past customs with a name board. Ninety minutes of waiting are included, and the clock starts when the aircraft is on the ground, not when a timetable printed months ago said it would be. Bags get carried. Departures from Strasbourg run in reverse: the leaving time comes from your gate closing and the state of the road that morning.
Two neighbours sit closest. Kehl costs €662 and Offenburg €665 in Business Class, two of the 572 Frankfurt Airport transfers, each with a fare that is fixed before you fly and holds whatever time you land.
Included in every fare
- Flight tracked from departure
- 90 minutes of free waiting after landing
- Meet and greet past customs, luggage carried
- Tolls, parking and VAT. No night or weekend surcharge
Getting there another way
Check bahn.de before you book us. Strasbourg is not in what the airport publishes about its direct trains, so whether one runs is a question for the Deutsche Bahn planner, which knows the full timetable. That might still beat us on price. What we can state without hedging is our own number: approx. 2 h 30 min door to door at €680, agreed before you fly.
A taxi from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg leaves the Frankfurt taxi area, where the tariff stops being binding and the fare is agreed before the trip. Our estimate: €510 to €635. An app will also get you to Strasbourg. It will quote a price that changes between the moment you check it and the moment you land, and it will not know your flight is ninety minutes late. That is the trade. We quote €680 once, and the 90 free minutes after touchdown are already inside it.
Station names, lines and frequencies come from each airport's own travel pages and from the published service table for its station. We quote no ticket prices, because we could not verify current ones.

Questions
- How much is a transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg?
- The transfer costs €680 in a Business Class saloon, all in. That covers tolls, parking, 90 minutes of waiting after you land, and VAT. Electric Class €680. First Class €1,150. The six-seat Business Van €700. You are paying for the car, so three passengers cost what one costs.
- How many passengers and bags fit in each class?
- Business Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz E-Class), Electric Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS) and First Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class) each take up to three passengers, with room for 2 large cases and 2 carry-on. The Business Van takes more. A 2026 Mercedes-Benz V-Class, it seats up to six with 6 large cases and 6 carry-on, and costs €700 to Strasbourg. Skis or a pushchair? Mention them when you book.
- How long does it take from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg?
- The drive takes about 2 h 30 min in normal traffic, over roughly 210 km, which is 130 miles. For the outbound leg we work backwards from your gate-closing time and look at the road that morning and set the pickup from what it tells us.
- Where exactly does the driver meet me at Frankfurt Airport?
- The meeting point is past customs. Your driver stands there with your name on a board, at Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3, or the general aviation gates, and goes by your flight number to know which one. Luggage is carried to the car, and the drive to Strasbourg starts from there.
- Is there a train from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg?
- A direct train from Frankfurt Airport to Strasbourg is not one we can confirm: Strasbourg is not named in what the airport publishes about its direct trains. The Deutsche Bahn planner on bahn.de shows whether a through service runs on your day. By road it is approx. 2 h 30 min without a change, at €680.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- The price does not move when a flight is late. We watch the flight from the moment it leaves its origin airport and move the pickup with it, which means a two-hour delay costs you nothing at all, because the 90 minutes of waiting after landing were inside the €680 before any of it happened. Diverted to another city? Then we talk to you and work it out. No no-show fee for an aircraft that went somewhere else.
- Can I cancel or change the booking?
- Cancelling is free up to 6 hours before pickup. Bookings that hold a car for a whole day, which means hourly hire, full days, weddings and events, need 24 hours instead, because by that point the driver's day belongs to you and nobody else can be given it. Changes are a different thing. A new flight number, a new time, a new address: free, at any point, and usually what people actually needed.
- How do I pay?
- You can pay the driver in cash or by card, and the booking page shows any other option open to your booking. Company accounts get one monthly invoice with the VAT stated and every journey tagged to a cost centre, which is the version finance departments ask for. Passengers on an account never touch a payment at all.
- Can you take a wheelchair, a child seat or a pet to Strasbourg?
- Child and booster seats are free. Tell us the ages when you book. A folding wheelchair travels in any class, and where a passenger needs room to transfer across and not a saloon door to negotiate, the six-seat Business Van is the sensible choice and costs no more than asking for it. We do not run a ramp-equipped vehicle as standard. Ask, and you get a straight answer about whether we cover it ourselves or arrange it. Assistance dogs always travel. Other animals travel too. Tell us what, and how big.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Booking 12 hours ahead is comfortable. That gets you the class you asked for, not whatever happens to be free. Shorter notice is often fine, so ask before assuming. The exception is a disruption, when a cancelled bank of flights puts several hundred people on the same phones inside the same twenty minutes, and how far ahead you booked becomes the only thing separating a car from a queue.
