Past customs, someone is holding a board with your name on it. That is the whole promise, and delivering it takes rather more work than it sounds: tracking the flight from departure, parking before you land, absorbing the ninety minutes after touchdown that a meter would happily charge for, and knowing which door you are actually going to walk out of, whether that is Terminal A, B or C, which are three concourses of a single building. Leaving Düsseldorf, we work backwards from gate closing and watch the motorway.
Bound for somewhere close by? Altstadt, Düsseldorf costs €92 in Business Class and Carlstadt €95, on the same terms as all 572 Düsseldorf Airport transfers.
Included in every fare
- Flight tracked from departure
- 90 minutes of free waiting after landing
- Meet and greet past customs, luggage carried
- Tolls, parking and VAT. No night or weekend surcharge
Getting there another way
There is a direct train, and on a short run it will cost you less than we do. The station is Düsseldorf Flughafen, and S1, S11 and seven RE lines all call there, roughly every 30 minutes through the day. Take it if you have one bag and no appointment. Take us at €92 if there are three of you, if the cases will not fit through a turnstile, or if the aircraft is due at 05:40.
By the published Düsseldorf tariff, which binds every taxi as far as Düsseldorf, a taxi from Düsseldorf Airport to Düsseldorf comes to about €45–€60, depending on the traffic. The meter decides which. Ride-hailing apps work here too. Two things to know before you compare screenshots. Their prices move with demand, so the figure at eleven on a Tuesday is not the figure at seven on a Monday. And the booking has no idea your flight exists, which makes a delayed landing your problem to solve at the kerb. Ours is €92 whenever the aircraft actually arrives, with 90 minutes of waiting from touchdown.
Station names, lines and frequencies come from each airport's own travel pages and from the published service table for its station. We quote no ticket prices, because we could not verify current ones.

Questions
- How much is a transfer from Düsseldorf Airport to Düsseldorf?
- Business Class is €92 and that is the whole figure. Tolls, parking, VAT and 90 minutes of waiting sit inside it. If you want the electric car, Electric Class is €92, the First Class saloon €170, and the Business Van, which seats six, €112. No per-person pricing. No luggage supplement.
- How many passengers and bags fit in each class?
- Business Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz E-Class), Electric Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz EQS) and First Class (a 2026 Mercedes-Benz S-Class) each take up to three passengers, with room for 2 large cases and 2 carry-on. The Business Van takes more. A 2026 Mercedes-Benz V-Class, it seats up to six with 6 large cases and 6 carry-on, and costs €112 to Düsseldorf. Skis or a pushchair? Mention them when you book.
- How long does it take from Düsseldorf Airport to Düsseldorf?
- The drive is 25 min over 14 km, 9 miles. Going back to the airport we set the pickup from your gate-closing time and from the state of the traffic on the day.
- Where exactly does the driver meet me at Düsseldorf Airport?
- Your driver meets you past customs, holding a board with your name, at Terminal A, B or C, which are three concourses of a single building. Your flight number says which one. The car for Düsseldorf is parked before you land, and 90 minutes of waiting from touchdown are already inside the fare, which covers most of what a slow passport queue can do.
- Is there a train from Düsseldorf Airport to Düsseldorf?
- A direct train runs from Düsseldorf Flughafen to Düsseldorf: S1, S11 and seven RE lines, roughly every 30 minutes during the day. It costs less than we do. It also involves a platform, your own luggage, and a walk at the other end.
- What happens if my flight is delayed?
- The price does not move when a flight is late. We watch the flight from the moment it leaves its origin airport and move the pickup with it, which means a two-hour delay costs you nothing at all, because the 90 minutes of waiting after landing were inside the €92 before any of it happened. Diverted to another city? Then we talk to you and work it out. No no-show fee for an aircraft that went somewhere else.
- Can I cancel or change the booking?
- Cancelling is free up to 6 hours before pickup. Bookings that hold a car for a whole day, which means hourly hire, full days, weddings and events, need 24 hours instead, because by that point the driver's day belongs to you and nobody else can be given it. Changes are a different thing. A new flight number, a new time, a new address: free, at any point, and usually what people actually needed.
- How do I pay?
- You can pay the driver in cash or by card, and the booking page shows any other option open to your booking. Company accounts get one monthly invoice with the VAT stated and every journey tagged to a cost centre, which is the version finance departments ask for. Passengers on an account never touch a payment at all.
- Can you take a wheelchair, a child seat or a pet to Düsseldorf?
- Child and booster seats are free. Tell us the ages when you book. A folding wheelchair travels in any class, and where a passenger needs room to transfer across and not a saloon door to negotiate, the six-seat Business Van is the sensible choice and costs no more than asking for it. We do not run a ramp-equipped vehicle as standard. Ask, and you get a straight answer about whether we cover it ourselves or arrange it. Assistance dogs always travel. Other animals travel too. Tell us what, and how big.
- How far ahead should I book?
- Booking 12 hours ahead is comfortable. That gets you the class you asked for, not whatever happens to be free. Shorter notice is often fine, so ask before assuming. The exception is a disruption, when a cancelled bank of flights puts several hundred people on the same phones inside the same twenty minutes, and how far ahead you booked becomes the only thing separating a car from a queue.
